Although best known as golfer’s elbow, inner elbow pain goes by many other names, including baseball elbow, medial epicondylitis, and medial elbow pain. Inner elbow pain usually occurs after overusing the muscles that control wrist and finger movements or when the tendon that attaches the muscles to the bone is strained. Pain from golfer’s elbow can also occur when there’s a tear in the tendon or general degradation of muscle tissue. Like any inflammatory condition, redness, warmth, pain and swelling are typical. It may also be painful to stretch the arm, wrist, or neck muscles, and numbness or tingling in or around the elbow is not uncommon.
The RapidForce L Shape (inner right arm) and Reverse L Shape (inner left arm) are designed to help reduce this type of inner elbow pain, especially pain from golfer’s elbow. The L Shape’s central core is placed atop the area with the most pain, and the two arms are stretched outward, creating dynamic structural support.
