Anterior instability is an injury to the glenohumeral joint in the shoulder. The rounded top portion of the upper arm bone (humerus) is dislocated from the shoulder socket (glenoid cavity) and thrust toward the front side (anterior) of the body. Pain from anterior instability will be located in the front of the shoulder, 2–3 inches above the armpit.
The RapidForce® Star Shape is designed to reduce shoulder pain, including pain from anterior shoulder instability. The Star Shape has a central core that is placed on the skin 2–3 inches above the armpit, right above the area where the upper arm meets the shoulder joint to stabilize the area. The Shape’s six arms are stretched outwards, creating dynamic structural support.Application Instructions
